QR Codes.mov diaries
Posted on December 27, 2011“Video Fall-Out” was held at The Bank Building in Cleveland’s Waterloo Arts District of North Collinwood. The event allowed the 22 participating artists to showcase their artistic creativity through video.
Cleveland Ohio artist and graphic designer, Patsy Kline’s presentation room was filled with posters that contained QR codes. When scanned each QR code connected to a short, raw video clip that the artist had recorded on her iPhone while walking or driving around Cleveland. Her work is entitled QR Codes.mov diaries.
In explaining the videos on her blog, Kline says, “The main purpose of this diary is to experience QR Code technology in a playful way while introducing a new way of participatory art — augmented reality.”
