Progress on http://www.hackerspacecharlotte.org/ attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest permanent QR Code on the roof of Southern Resources; a family owned & operated scrap metal recycler. The finished QR Code will cover most of the 10,000 square feet of space. The code should be big enough to see from satellite imagery, which means you can see it on Google Earth or Google Maps when looking up Southern Resources.
“Someone sitting at home on their computer can see this bar code, put their phone up to it, and it’ll take them to the website for the project,” said Ryan Stachurski of Hackerspace Charlotte.
