Snap & Go is a project of The Contra Costa County Library, that brings library services to your mobile phone. Excellent and creative uses of QR Codes, just wish they would make them more artistic. Institute of Museum and Library Services announced Contra Costa County Library as one of the recipients of 2012 National Medal for Museum and Library Service.
The Library recently engaged in an advertising campaign featuring a billboard with a colorful word cloud and a large QR code at BART stations along the Pittsburg- Bay Point line. The ad appeared at track level and at many stations starting at MacArthur station moving into Contra Costa County stops.
Listen to over 600 audiobook titles on the bus with the Contra Costa County Library’s Snap & Go mobile library access. Wirelessly download audiobooks directly to your cell phone for FREE. It’s a great way to pass time on the bus.

The agency KolleRebbe created the line “Mit 2€ viel bewegen” (“Put a lot of things into motion with 2€”) for Catholic charity MISEREOR and placed the poster at Hamburg’s airport.
“The Power Of A Coin” — a interactive poster that has been designed to be an interactive donation box. When 2 euros are donated into the poster, the various MISEREOR children aid projects visually come to life. A built-in camera takes a photo of the donor, which he can post on Facebook using the QR Code and then share information about the promotion. This enabled MISEREOR to start up a dialogue with people online too.
