Gigantic QR code – 1.315 square meters

March 3, 2012  aariXa broke the largest QR code world record, recognized by Guiness Book of World Records. The current largest QR code measured 934.62 m² and the one of aariXa is 1315 m². With an area of 1,315 square meters, the IT company  aariXa of Herk-de-Stad Belgium established the world record for the largest QR code. The code has been photographed from a helicopter and redirects to the website of aariXa. An usher came validate the establishment of this new record.

The IT company aariXa wanted to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest QR code in the world.

At the town hall in Herk-de-Stad, an area of ​​1,315 square meters has been covered with wooden panels to form a unique QR code that has been photographed from the sky. A bailiff came to see the record attempt and prepare a report to formalize the application to the Guinness Book of World Records for the world record.
