From May 14 to 19 2012 , the Museum of La Cour d’Or - Metz Metropole organizes a Medieval Week. This year, a Smartphone game is planned which will allow the public to discover a part of the history of Metz in the Middle Ages.

This is the Metz Métropole Medieval Game 2012, 3MG12

In this game, the action takes place in 1354. That’s when a delegation arrives from Messina to the Luxembourg Republic. A fight breaks out between the mysterious factions from Messina and Luxembourg.

Players will try to solve this puzzle by scanning, using their phones, different QR codes  affixed near famous monuments or places of medieval Metz.

Thus they will discover historical information, the social and cultural impact on the city of Metz, and few clues in the form of narrative fiction to better understand the origins of the brawl.

Saturday 19 May, the fighting will be reenacted at the museum. Players then enter into direct contact with actors of the event and discover the true story .
