QR Codes Bring Art and Poetry to Life

Ben Curran shared the  Transliteracy: QR Codes and Art post by Silvia Tolisano with the art teacher at his school and they decided to collaborate on an art/research/writing/technology project that would be shared during the annual school art show During the annual school  art show, the students’ paintings were hanging on the wall and below them were QR Codes. Scanning each code linked to that student’s slideshow or video about  biographical information and their opinion and analysis of the artist’s work. (They posted instructions for parents who weren’t familiar with scanning codes.) An interactive art show!

Be sure to check out Ben’s original post, it has much more information and creative uses of QR codes: Engaging Educators. Check out my posts  about Silvia Tolisano’s Transliteracy: QR Codes and Art, a video post about the project and QR Code uses in Education.
